Built from a personal need.

Mindful

Mindful started with a simple frustration. I wanted to eat healthier, but every calorie tracker I tried felt like homework. Searching through massive food databases, guessing portion sizes, never knowing if the numbers were even close.

So I built the app I wished existed. One that uses AI to do the heavy lifting, shows its reasoning so you can actually trust the numbers, and stays out of your way. Mindful isn't about obsessing over every calorie. It's about building intuition for what fuels you best.

Mindful's AI grounds every estimate by searching across nutrition databases and online sources in real time to get the most up-to-date data, then shows you exactly which ones it used. Every estimate comes with a confidence score, a full reasoning breakdown, and linked sources so you can verify for yourself. If something doesn't look right, you can edit manually or tap "Edit with AI" to correct it with natural language like "the portion was bigger" or "remove the dressing."

Transparency. Other trackers give you a number and you just have to trust it. Mindful shows you exactly how it arrived at each estimate, including the databases, the reasoning, and the confidence level. Beyond that, there's no giant food database to scroll through. Just type what you ate, snap a photo, or scan a barcode and the AI does the work. You can even edit food logs directly using AI to increase or lower food portions or search from a different brand.

Absolutely. Enter your body profile, including gender, height, weight, birthday, and activity level, and Mindful auto calculates your BMR and TDEE. From there you can set custom daily targets for calories, protein, carbs, and fat, plus limits for sugar, fiber, sodium, cholesterol, and saturated fat. You can also set a goal weight and track your progress over time.

Mindful is currently iOS only for iPhone, with lock screen and home screen widgets included.
